At Romford Drone Photography, we operate within legal and safety guidelines to ensure compliant and responsible drone use across Essex. We use the DJI Mini 2, a lightweight drone under 250g, which allows us to avoid many of the strict regulations that apply to heavier models. This gives us greater flexibility while still prioritizing safety.
We always maintain a visual line of sight and keep a safe distance from people, buildings, and restricted zones. However, certain factors - especially weather - can affect our ability to fly. We cannot operate in rain or strong winds (typically above 15mph). For every booking, we monitor the forecast closely and will always communicate directly with clients if weather conditions make flying unsafe. In such cases, we offer to reschedule or provide a deposit refund if postponing isn't possible.
